Orco Fiber Identification Stain BR
Orco Fiber Identification Stain BR is a special blend of dyestuffs designed to easily identify various types of natural and synthetic fibers even when in woven blends. Its ease of use and quick test times make it particularly valuable when spot checking stock and incoming fabrics before dyeing.
The unique blend of dyes provides a strong contrast of fiber colors so as to make accurate identifications of each fiber. This product is available in 8 oz, 1 lb, 2 lb and 5 lb quantities.

Multi-Fiber Test Fabric
Multi-fiber test fabric is available in convenient one meter lengths that can be cut into suitable lengths. The actual width is approximately 5 inches making the visual identification easy.

Directions for use:
Depending on fabric condition or stock being evaluated, weigh approximately 0.25 gm of Fiber Identification Stain BR and dissolve in 250 cc or about 9 fl. oz. of hot water (120° - 140° F). Add a small square of fabric (~3x3 inch) or 2-4 grams of loose stock as well as a suitable piece of fiber ID fabric (available separately from Organic Dyestuff Corp.) and bring to a boil for 3 - 5 minutes. Rinse both the unknown and the ID fabric well in cool water, dry, and compare.
