The patented PERACTO™ system takes advantage of state-of-the-art colorant nanotechnology offering extremely energy-efficient and environmentally friendly textile padding and inkjet printing systems, requiring no pre-treatment or post-treatment.
Quick Links:
Benefits of PERACTO™ Dispersions and Inks
- Significant reduction of process costs vs traditional continuous dyeing processes
- Simplified process with possible elimination of pre-treatment or fabric differentiated post-treatments
- Reduced water consumption (except for machine cleaning)
- Compatible with current dyeing and printing equipment
- Higher efficiency — one colorant system to dye all synthetic and natural fibers
- No change of ink or dye chemistry for different fibers
- Good color fastness via 4A washfastness
- Compliance with REACH and registered on ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX®
- Most colors applicable to military specification color ranges
Drawbacks of Current Textile Inkjet Printing and Pad-Dyeing
- Each type of fiber requires different dye or ink classes
- Blends of different fibers must be treated twice
- Pre-treatment of the textile is typically required before printing or pad-dyeing
- Large amounts of water required for pre- and post-treatment dramatically increasing energy costs as well
- For digital printing, different processes, printers and print heads are needed
- For pad-dyeing, different process equipment is needed.

Actual dye and pigment samples must be evaluated in a laboratory on substrate or medium to be colored in production for accurate shade and physical property results. Shades shown on print material and computer monitors are for general reference only as they are inherently inaccurate due to calibration variations and technical limitations of monitors and printers.
