Organic Dyes and Pigments (ORCO) is a supplier of pond dyes that are used to improve water clarity, while also imparting a pleasant color.  Pond dyes can be used for algae control and to prevent weed growth, as well as clear up a muddy appearance. When used as directed, OrcoPondTM Dyes are 100% safe for humans, fish, livestock, pets, birds, swimming pools, pumps, pipes and irrigation systems.

OrcoPondTM Dyes are highly concentrated – we strongly suggest that potential customers sample the dyes and evaluate.  The Standard Color Line consists of Blue, Teal and Black.  In addition, these standard colors can be blended by ORCO or the purchaser to achieve unique shades.  Ask us to develop a custom shade for you!  OrcoPondTM Dyes are available in powder and liquid forms.

Both dyes and liquids can be applied from the shoreline if there is moderate breeze or pond agitation. For very stagnant ponds, it is recommended that multiple application points be attempted.
Typically the color will last up to 30 days for most ponds. Extended periods of intense sunlight or significant inflow/outflow of pond water may reduce that time.
Regardless of your geographic location, pond dyes can be applied year-round – yes, we even have people who apply it to ice to get that desired color as the ice melts!
