Job Title: Laboratory Technician II
Location: Lincoln, RI
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician II to support our laboratory operations and product development efforts.
What You’ll Do:
Support formulation development, testing, and analysis of dyestuffs and auxiliary chemicals.
• Perform routine laboratory testing, sample preparation, and assist with product development under the guidance of senior laboratory staff.
• Operate standard laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters, and mixers, while following proper safety and maintenance procedures.
• Accurately document experimental data, test results, and laboratory activities in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Assist with quality control processes to ensure consistency and reliability of laboratory results.
• Collaborate with chemists, supervisors, and laboratory team members on ongoing projects.
• Participate in training and skill development to expand technical knowledge and take on increased responsibility over time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment in accordance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and execute sample requests, preparation, and shipment, while actively contributing to process optimization, operational efficiency, and organized work practices.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• Prior laboratory experience or relevant academic experience (coursework, internships, or projects) preferred.
• Working knowledge of basic laboratory safety practices and chemical handling procedures.
• Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain thorough records.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic laboratory software for data entry and reporting.
• Proficiency in English required.
