Orco Dye Carrier LLRS-2™ is a low-odor dye carrier for atmospheric dyeing and high temperature leveling of polyester.

Procedures

Atmospheric

Prepare bath with the following:

• 6.0 – 9.0% Orco Dye Carrier LLRS-2™ * on weight of goods (owg)
• X% owg Glacial Acetic Acid 50% to pH of 4.5 – 5.0

Circulate for 10 minutes at 100-110°F(38-43°C).

Add Orcocilacron™ disperse dye and bring temperature to 208°F (98°C) and run for 60 minutes.

Drop bath, rinse well, and dry. *Dependent on depth of shade.

 

High Temperature

Same procedure as listed above with the following changes:

2.0% – 4.0% owg Orco Dye Carrier LLRS-2™, X% owg Glacial Acetic Acid 56% to pH of 2.5 – 5.0

Run at 265°F(130°C) for 45 minutes.

On heavy shades, the use of Orco Synclear PC will help remove any loose dye and improve crocking.
