Orco Flame Retardant XF 100™ is a semi-durable flame-retardant aftertreatment based on ammonium salts and having the unique characteristic of being less harsh than most salt based products.

 

Physical Properties

Appearance	White crystalline powder
Solubility	Approximately 50% in water at 75°F(24°C)
pH	6.7 to 7.0 in a 1% Solution

 

Applications

Applicable to synthetics, cellulose, wool, and blends thereof.

 

Procedures

Since retardancy demand will vary dependent on the material being finished, laboratory tests should be conducted to determine the optimum level required.  A general starting formulation would be 10-25% Orco Flame Retardant XF 100™ on weight of bath at 80% pick-up level.

Store in cool dry area with bag tightly closed.
