Orco Synthrowite GWS™ is a neutral, nonionic optical brightener for use on nylon, acetate, triacetate, wool, and silk and offers clean, bright whites with a bluish-violet cast at an economical cost. Orco Synthrowite GWS™ may be applied via exhaust or continuous processes.

Procedures

Exhaust Application for Nylon, Acetate, Triacetate

• 0.25 – 2.00% Orco Synthrowite GWS™ on weight of goods(owg)
• Optional: 3 g/liter Sodium Hydrosulfite.

Run at 170°-180°F(76-82°C) for 30 minutes.

Continuous Pad Application for Nylon, Acetate, Triacetate

• 0.50 – 1.50% Orco Synthrowite GWS™ owg
• 0.50 – 1.00% Orcopon Gel 130™ owg

Set bath at 140-200°F(60-93°C)

Pad at 60°-70°F(16-21°C) and dry.

Orco Synthrowite GWS™ may be used in conjunction with various scouring agents as well as Hydrogen Peroxide bleach agents.

Storage

Protect from freezing or temperatures over 100°F(43°C).
