Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ is a high-efficiency oxidative scour powder providing half and full-bleach bottoms for 100% cotton and its blends with optical brightening qualities and eliminates the need for oxidizing agents, optical brighteners, scouring & wetting surfactants, chelating agents, and clearing agents.

Procedures

Bleaching

Half bleach bottoms – use 3.0 to 4.0% Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ on weight of goods.

Full bleach bottoms – use 6.0 to 8.0% Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ on weight of goods.

Dissolve Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ in warm water (120°F(49°C)).  Add to bath in as low a liquor ratio as is practical. Bring to 175-185°F (79-85°C) and run for 45 minutes.

Clearing Polyester/Cotton

As a post scour to dyeing, use 2.0 to 4.0% Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ on weight of goods depending on degree of staining. Pre-dissolve Orco SynthroScour 100 Powder™ in warm water then add to bath after last rinse.  Increase temperature to 150-180°F(66-82°C) and hold for 20-30 minutes. Cool back and rinse well.
