Care should be exercised when selecting dyes for certain applications due to the limitations of gas-fade properties of some dyes.

1. Prepare goods as necessary with a inside-out flow only. Typically, a simple prescour where the goods are run for 30 minutes at 180°F(82°C) with 1-2% owg Anionic Wetting Agent
   is sufficient, along with a good rinse.
2. Prepare cones properly to prevent any sloughing that may result from the swelling of the acetate fibers.
3. For the dyebath at 100°F(38°C), add:

• 0.25%  owg    Orco Ferrosol F-80 Liquid™
• 1-2 % owg      Anionic Wetting Agent
• Monosodium Phosphate to a pH of 6
• X %   owg       Orcocil™ disperse dyes

4. Slowly raise dyebath to 140°F(60°C) and run for 15 minutes.
5. Slowly raise to 175-185°F(79-85°C) and run for 1 ½ hours. The luster of the fiber will decrease with the increase of dyeing temperature. If luster is not desired,  an initial boil of the fabric for 15 minutes before the dyeing will degrade the luster[1].
6. Cool to 120°F(49°C) and overflow rinse until clear.
7. As an after-scour, add 1-2% owg Anionic Wetting Agent, raise to 150°F(65°C), and run for 10 minutes.
8. Cool to 120°F(49°C) and overflow rinse until clear.
9. Finish goods as necessary.
